“On May 30th from 6:00-7:30 PM don’t miss the opportunity to meet Emmy award-winning costume designer and Henderson native, Ane Crabtree, here at the Henderson County Public Library! 

Ane has gone from Henderson to Hollywood as a prolific costume designer, visual artist, and documentarian best known for her work on The Handmaid's TaleThe SopranosWestworld, and Masters of Sex. In 2018, Ane was included in Fast Company's 100 Most Creative People in Business for "designing the apocalypse." She has been nominated for three Emmy Awards (2017, 2018, 2019) for her work on The Handmaid's Tale and Westworld (2016) and for four Costume Guild Awards for PanAm (2012), Masters of Sex (2015), and Westworld (2016), winning for The Handmaid's Tale (2018).

During our talk, Ane will be discussing her creative process, inspiration, and how Henderson and its library have always remained in her heart. After her presentation, Ane will be taking questions from the audience so come prepared with all kinds of questions! You will not want to miss Ane’s road homeward!”
