Event Details

We're excited to announce a collaborative effort between Henderson Parks and Recreation, Darrell Yates of Hendo Health Wellness, and Henderson County Public Library to host a Community Clean-Up Day on Friday, June 28th, from 10 am to Noon. Starting at JFK Center.

What to Expect:

Community Clean-Up: Let's come together as a community to make a positive impact on our environment! We'll be picking up litter and tidying up our neighborhood streets and green spaces. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm for cleaning up our community.

Food Truck: What's a community clean-up without a little refreshment? We'll have a food truck on-site, serving up delicious treats to keep you energized and hydrated throughout the event. It's the perfect opportunity to take a break, refuel, and mingle with fellow volunteers.

How to Participate:

Participating in the Community Clean-Up Day is easy! Simply show up at the JFK Center on Friday, June 28th, ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference. Whether you can spare an hour or the entire morning, every bit of help counts.

This event is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our community, connect with neighbors, and take pride in our city's beauty. Together, we can make a meaningful impact and create a cleaner, greener Henderson for all to enjoy.

Join us for a morning of community, camaraderie, and cleanliness. Let's work together to keep Henderson beautiful!
