Program Description

Event Details

Step back in time as we take a look at Christmas from the perspective of the soldiers & their families during World War 2.  We will take a look at the yuletide season using a collection of the letters written back home and originally published in the Henderson Morning Gleaner in a section titled "News From Our Boys".  The presentation will also focus on the hardships faced back home with mentions of rationing, shortages, and dealing with the unknown.  Everyone is invited to attend this discussion.
